Medical Qigong

Picture
Look around you at the natural surroundings: the trees, the plants and the earth,
the movement of air, the sky.
Beyond this still, there are mountains, rivers, seas.

This
is the foundation
from which qigong grew.

Everything living is animated by Qi, or vital energy, and it continuously transitions and moves within and around our bodies, and all living species.
With skillful awareness and practice, we can help its flow to be harmonious and consistent.

This is Qigong.  A reflection of animate life and all its supple movements.
When the focus of qigong is to heal or transform mind, body, spirit,
it is known as
Medical Qigong.

Two aspects of Qigong

 Self-Healing Personal Practice Qigong

As a personal practice, Qigong involves movement and postures, focussed mind, senses, and breathing.
It is done independently or guided,
to maintain or attain health.

At present I am not offering classes, but send me an email to be added to my class contacts.
External, or Clinical Qigong

Therapeutically, this form of Qigong is used for perceiving and treating particular areas, organ systems and pathways of the body.  It involves sensing, emitting, and directing Qi to clear stagnations and
 benefit the circulation of energy.
My treatments are in person and by distance,
which is often my deeper felt work.
